The detailed carvings and interlocking pieces of the lattice work on the doors of this armoire are the heart of its charm.  Designed to look like classic side hinge doors, they’re actually pocket doors that fold back into the armoire, out of the way, on sturdy metal hardware.  This antique cabinet was redesigned, using the substantial original elm wood pieces, and re-fitted for modern use.  It adds elegance to  media devices or makes a stately accent piece for the hallway or bedroom.
The dark finish is accented by warm honey tones along the edges and ware lines.  Antique-finished, beautifully individual hardware pieces complement the fine wood construction.  The top doors can be held closed together with the included rare engraved lock and key set, adding a unique handsome detail.
The large top compartment has a built-in top and lower shelf  and a generous main chamber measuring 37” x 23”.  Large and deep, it’s an ideal spot for a large television or towers of fluffy linens and towels.  The two substantial and dense lower drawers are a sturdy 10” deep and 23″ long, with room for anything you need to store.
